THERE IS NO FEE TO REGISTER ONLINE -- YOU DON'T PAY UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT. DOING SO WILL DRAMATICALLY SPEED UP EVENT CHECK-IN AND MOVE YOU TO THE HEAD OF THE LINE. SHOW YOUR ID, PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE AND YOU'RE DONE. IF YOU THINK YOU MAY ATTEND, THEN REGISTER ONLINE. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

Me and my buddies from one of the local Tallahassee car forums (TallyImports.com) have a special class that we run in called the "Tally Imports Championship Points Series". Anyone is free to run in the class. The main difference is that there are no rules for the class except that you have to have a TallyImports sticker on your car and also that the class is based on RAW times. No PAX. (Except for 1 second on to your time if you're using R-comp tires).
The class was created to allow for competition among us friends and also to allow for people who are new to autocross with modified cars to not have to worry about their classification/PAX, as it is discouraging for such people to come in without much experience and have the PAX system working against them so much.
Most of the guys who start autocrossing regularly switch to their regular class after they get more comfortable and have increased their skill enough.
Its almost similar to a Novice system, but more catered to people such as myself with low skill level, but a highly modified car, which would normally put me at a HUGE disadvantage with the PAX system.
Obviously this is not for serious autocrossers, as this is only a local class. Just mainly for fun and driver improvement. We've seen a huge influx of people coming to events because of the class, so it seems to be working.
