I contacted ComposiMo and Bandiscoot to see about the cart track and collect some info....As soon as I hear from them I will see about scheduling an event there on sunday.

Thanks guys. Interested parties speak up.

lets make it a weekend and fill up that hotel...LOL It could be more fun than my Senior Prom at the Pink Hilton up the insterstate an exit or so.....that was a bad/good night

Is that what we call it now?

If you get in the night before or are staying the night on the day of the meet I'd definitely recommend heading downtown for dinner. Nothing too exciting but there is a collection of good restaurants there and a nice square. Harry's is probably the best choice for relaxed setting and good food (a bar too for those that want it). It's cajun food but nothing wacky. There is also Marks Prime ($$$$ steaks), a French place, Sushi Bistro, Mojos and ???

SR-200 has just about every "chain": Chili's, Hooters, Outback, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, a few mexican places, Tuesdays, Applebees, Logans, Tai food, Mimi's Cafe, Bonefish, Macaroni Grill, etc.

Wow WTF is all of this drama? I thought we were a bunch of men who owned sports cars, not Days of our Lives.

Put your big boy hat on and forget about these complaining middle school girls, Captain Rob!

So let me make sure I get this right...Tampa members/CO's planned a "FL Supermeet" over a year ago without any planning, coordination or input from any other CO's or members and you wonder why there are so many non concurs? I mean, I hate to keep jacking this point but it seems pretty cut and dry to me.
Tampa people planned this meet. While i enjoyed Kamispeed meet 2 years in a row while it was free and we were given free pizza it was boring to stand in a parking lot all day. This year most people left after a few hours. I'm not 18 years old and im tired of standing in parking lots all day. Most of the people who organized this wanted something to do and something fun. We put on a great meet last year and people bitched. All this bitching and nobody else plans any meets ever. If we didnt plan this then there would be nothing. In 4 years of being on S2ki hardly any big meets have been planned.

Now on to the track day i was going to set something up at Gainsville this year and contacted WillieG but didnt hear back. Last year at $125 a car we barely made it since people backed out. The economy is bad this year and to be honest with eveyone with the amout of complaining and bitching going on im not going to put the effort into setting up a track day the go carts are more affordable for everyone and easier. I encourage someone else to plan a track day i will be the first to sign up. Also please plan a cool meet away from Tampa so i can drive my car somewhere. This communtiy has gone down hill and all people do is bitch. Take charge and plan something. Tampa puts alot of effort into making S2ki ownership fun and we will have our meets if you come great and if you dont you are missing out. I dont care im going to the dragon this year and paying to drive on a public road.
