Still up catching up on work emails, laundry of all things. Probably a few days before we get any pix posted but I'm sure nothing compared to what Chip and some of the boys captured. Sure wish I was still in St. Pete to catch Monday's main event. I purposely planned a light day Monday in prep for 6 appointments Tuesday. Darn the luck. This day forth...we'll be staying through, not to, Sunday.

I was walking up on everyone as they were getting the cars staged. I was asking about ya too. Oh well ... next time.I actually had a decent time all things considered. I think I was the most prepared as I wore board-shorts and flip-flops ... kinda like webbed feet!
I actually walked the entire way back to the Tropicana field parking area in that downpour ... and LOVED it. It was a nice rain and not too cold ... and I really enjoy that kind of stuff
Looks like me and my buddy are gonna make it back tomorrow. I'll try to take a few pics for everyone

Looks like some of you guys got in really good pics. I went today only to see the last 15 laps of the Indy Lights Race. The came the downpour and ruined my afternoon. The good thing wa that I got in the Paddock area for free and good a few shots of the Indy cars upclose. I also snuck in an autograph from Ryan Hunter during an ESPN interview.
I'll be back in The Burg bright and early to get my fill of the racing I missed out on today!
