Vic & James - let me know what you find out on a trailer. From what I have found the Ridge cannot tow anywhere close to the 5k it states. Apparently most, if not all, manufacturers do this. I actually had a trailer custom made for the S but turned out that despite everything being a few hundred lbs below what the max stated I was heavily advised that it would be unsafe as far as driving and it would most definitely tear up the truck. I wanted it to work badly. Now I have a removable hitch on the S with a small tire trailer that can hold a set of 16s and all of my track tools.

Yes she does! She won't let me drive it if she is in the truck.
Then again, the wife and kids don't like my driving when I get home. It takes me a few days to adjust.
For the most part, in the US, we drive slower and some what safer here.

Sandy doesn't much care for driving the Ridge. She'd rather drive her ride or the S. Maybe because she's not even 5'2" and doesn't like the height?
James - you know what I was driving prior - that old RL. I was really worried the Ridge wouldn't ride as nice as the RL on the highway...wrong. I'm really impressed in that respect. Just wish it had a few more doo-dad/options and it could actually tow the S w/o tearing it a new one. So far so good though.

We were driving a Kia Sedona before this and it is night and day. The ride quality is better, the gas mileage is better and it has more comfort features. My wife actually loves driving it. It might be just because she is from OK where driving a big truck is the zenith of society. She loves it.
