I'm surprised/shocked/dissapointed that they are letting people out on the course during apparent 'spirited' driving with no helmets on... that'll be a great way to get this course shut down, and someone get hurt in the process.

However... Equally dissapointed in those driving spiritedly that did not put on a helmet regardless.

But wha-ev-er... guess i'd just be a party-pooper over there.

the photo's may look like spirited driving but they were in fairness merely laps and not spirited.. when the spirited driving was occuring there were helmets on and I think you'd enjoy it... as well as I would say if you put on your helmet even if it was only the laps, you'd set an example and others would follow... just my thoughts

Hands out the window and all... the lawyers are gonna have fun when something goes wrong. Shame we have to think about what the lawyers are going to say when we go to play.

both of you are well respected and semi-pro or professional drivers.. i was there and wasn't watching every car.. they were parade laps everyone in a line following a pace car... but at the same time I would never disagree about the use of safety helmets..

PS... you would have eerked seeing the full family cars.. kids in the back seat an all...

There is no reason to hate on the event my friend. The Instructors took much caution in the parade laps. Max speeds that day maximum 30-40 miles per hour.

The event was to show everyone in the local community that there was a track opening up in the Orlando area.

When the Parade laps were done, and the Big boys came out to play; There were nothing but helmets and harnesses strapped on.

Safty is CFRC top priority.
