Hi guys,

Bad news : The track in Luxembourg is booked till the end of September. As suggested by mprocureur I considered the "circuit de Folembray" in the northern of France. I contacted them and will receive all the necessary information tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.
In the meantime you can have a look at their website http://www.circuit-de-folembray.com

Ok guys, here are the details:

We can rent the track for 1/2 day or full day. Here is the price for 1/2 day (4h) including VAT, lap timing, club house, etc. (multiply by 2 for full day):
BEF 66,930
NLG 3,656.38
FRF 10,883.60
I think this is a reasonable price in regards to the service offered and if we could arrange to have 10-20 cars participating.
If you are interested please post here and mention the date which suits you the most.
Other cars are also welcome as this would allow us to compare performance.
If you have any other questions or suggestions don't hesitate to ask.

Just got off the phone with Victor, here some extra info:

If we rent the track during the week it's half the price.
(66930 Bef for a whole day)

Security and medical assistance is also included.

there is the posibility to have a intro on track driving.(theoretical)

Pancho

Victor,

Count me in for a whole day.
I'will arrange some assistance for tyres from YOKOHAMA.

I'm interested, but I think you definitely need at least 10 participants

What date(s) are you talking about ?
For me week of 13-17/8 would be perfect ! Or is this too late or too soon ?

I'm interested. I'm dying to get on the track with my car. Too many times I have had to lift off on public roads. Besides, I've missed the last get together so it's about time I get involved with "the brothers of 9000 rpm"!

Erratum:
During a weekday in June the price for a full day would be approx. BEF 96,000 and not BEF 66,000. This price is only applicable till March. Sorry for the confusion.

Erik,
You are right: once we have a date we can try to negociate about the price.

At the moment we have (including me) 5 interested people:
Pancho, bel-s2k, erikv, cougar and vlopes. Do not forget to mention the dates you prefer.

To the others: come on, don't be shy, it's the only way to demonstrate your skills or how bad a driver you are.

I would also like to mention that racing one against the other is an option as there are more risks involved. The goal of this track meeting is to try to figure out how far the limits of this wonderful car are by trying to do the best lap time. As stated by Cougar this is not possible on public roads.

The second objective is to meet each other and have a lot of fun.

HMM HMMM, at the moment we have 6 interested people

Is there a list of dates which are still available ? Because, these tracks tend to be rather fully booked during the summer...

I ran a few laps on Croix-en-Ternois last weekend, and even with more technical "bike" trakcs like croix, it was already fully booked till end September.

Also, are these prices from Folembray, or is it from some kind of 3rd party organisation (like ARA, VAHEM, ELAN,...) who rerent the track ?

Regards,
David.

PS; does anyone know a good place to stack 2x 250Mb MPG videos on the net (one from Zolder and one from Coix-en-Ternois)
