Just put some new speakers in today. (mid and tweeters)
The sound is just sooooooooo much better.

One advice if you still have stock speakers, just replace them, it's easy and "cheap"(120

Pancho,

Were these a simple "drop in"? Are they the same diameter and depth as the stock speakers? Or did it require some cutting to make them fit?

Cougar,

they are larger than stock, you only have to cut the plastic stock speaker holder. The depth is ok, you can check it out with pics on my website (under construction)

If you need help let me know.

Mike,

It's quite easy to remove the doorpanel, there are a few screws and than just pull it off.(strong pull)

I installed the speakers on the dashboard, you remove the panel on the doorstep and the curved part that goes to the dashboard.

check out this link for details.
