I would like to offer my 'Welcome to Belgium' also. As everyone has already stated, there are not many S2000 owners in Belgium for the various reasons stated and I too feel that it is better because the car is not as widely seen as all the BMWs and Porsche Boxters.

If you don't mind, I would like to ask you a question about the spare parts available in Japan for the S2K. Is it possible to buy the 'H' logos for the trunk and hood of the car in Black/Silver? The reason I ask is because I drive a silver S2K and would like to change the 'H' marks on the trunk and hood, as well as other items. I am still waiting for my exhaust system to arrive in Belgium. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of my car to attach because it is a stock 2003 model and I am sure everyone that will see this message knows what it looks like already. I am in the process of modifying it but still not too sure about how much I would like to modify it.

Perhaps other S2K owners in Belgium know if the Black/Silver 'H' marks are available?!

Also, I wonder if any other Belgium or European owners know how the Invidia-R exhaust systems perform with the S2K?

Hi Guys, sorry for butting in on your messages, but I saw you must mostly be in Belgium.

I am British, but lived 19 years in Belgium (Tervuren) until this summer. In April 2000 I bought a new Silverstone S2000 from the Honda dealer Vancaldenhoven in Tervuren, which I still have today. Problem is, the car is LHD and Belgian registered, and I am now living in the UK (and daily commuting to London by train) and since we have 3 other cars the Honda is surplus to my requirements. Much as I love the car, it is just not getting any use and I can't see that situation changing. So I am looking to sell the car to another enthusiast. Obviously, there is no market in the UK for a LHD Belgian registered car, so rather than import it to the UK I thought of trying to find a buyer in Belgium or other LHD market.

The car has always been a hobby for me, and as 4th car in my garage its mileage is very low - only 23000kms. The car is immaculate, as you'd expect with that mileage. It has always been serviced by Vancaldenhoven, who know me and the car well, and is standard apart from a sports exhaust system (bought about 3 years ago from a seller on this website). I still have the standard system in my garage. I put 4 new Bridgestone tyres on the car this summer. The car has never been accident damaged, and has hardly even been used in the rain.

If any of you guys know somebody who might be in the market for a really nice, straight, genuine, low mileage secondhand S2000, please let me know. I still visit Brussels from time to time for my work, and have a covered parking space at my old office, so I can bring the car over to be seen some time. Sound silly, but it's more important to me to find a good home for the car than to get the highest price.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hey, i am from Tervuren also, but left this place a few years ago and live now in Genk where i own our specialized shop for Honda freaks

I know the Dealer very well also over there.

I will keep in mind that you are looking after a buyer for your S2000.

 

Thanks for the interest. I know it's always difficult to be objective about used cars (particularly our own!), but I really don't think a buyer would be disappointed by this car.

Where were you in Tervuren? We were on Sint Hubertuslaan, parallel to the Leuvensesteenweg heading towards Vossem/Leefdaal. I don't think I ever made it to Genk.

By the way, did anyone see the S2000 was voted the most satisfying car to own in the UK by the viewers/readers of BBC's Top Gear show and magazine?!
