Hi Victor

Sure I did I'm not a total fool. But even that is a bit crazy, around Remscheid, everything went totaly crazy, it was snowing so much that the tracks got covered if you had around 100 meters of distance to the car in front. A some point the trucks began having difficulties getting up the hills due to the slow speed 20-30 km/h.

But at last I got home at 02:00 last night, after 11 hours of straight driving.

And now after work, there was additional 10 cm's of snow here in Luxembourg, argh I hate this stuff

Hi Pancho

Me too, todau i had to ditch the Mercedes on a small road in the woods. We doing this move of a coleagues house, and on the second run, there were falling so much snow, that the car would not go up the hills any more. So now it's just parked out there on a small side road to the road.

I soon need some sun and warmth, this snow stuff is beginning to get on my nerves !

But of cause I could take the Honda with 18" wheels and summer tires for a spin in the snow

Hi Pancho

I guess you had a great time :-), I won't take the Honda out, since I won't risk having salt on my new wheels.

I managed to get the Mercedes home today, since the roads was a bit better today.

I know how you feel, unfortuneately I havent much choice as I use my car everyday, so its always got either dirt or salt on them....
It just means i have to clean mine more often than most.

Friends, Happy New Year to you all!
I was 3 weeks in hot Madagascar, without the S. For such a poor country the roads were in good condition and nearly empty. They only have very narrow roads, so every car or truck you pass is a danger. The roads in our villages are much wider.
Secondly it would be a shame to drive such a hell of a car where only old Renault 4, Citroen 2CV and retarded Peugeots are running. I only saw an Audi A8 and 80/A4 and 2 MB's for the richer people. Most people over there have no shoes to walk on...
