I can have a quick look at the hyperrev magazine and post some suggestions.

But I would only consider:

17 inch wheels

7 or 7.5 width front
8.5 or 9 width rear

minimum front offset: +45mm
minimum rear offset: +55mm

Forged construction. Preferably hub centric, if not, make sure centering rings come with the wheels. I'm not sure if the SSR fit this description.

Got a mail from BBS confirming that the RG-R are only available in Japan.

In Europe for the s2000 they offer the LM wheels, 2 piece, forged, and available in 17 and 18 inches. Widths and offsets are 7.5/8.5, +48/+55 for 17in and 8/9.5, +50/+55 for 18in. The 17's offsets are good. The 18 will not fit without fender mods.
