Finally got my Mugen headers....
and what a wonderdul piece!! But I didn't install it yet...guess why!! I decided to go for the complete Mugen exhaust system which is currently on order.
So, if anybody is interested, the Nippon Autosport exhaust is for sale!!

hope you don't have to wait too long. But I don't understand why you're not going to put on the headers anyway. I wouldn't llike a toy I couldn't use while it's lying in it's box Is it easier to do all at once? Does Mugen also have a cat bypass?

Yes, these are two very separate items. The exhaust, anyone can do. You'll just need help to hold the exhaust while you secure it in place.
The headers are much tougher. To do it properly you need to detach one of the engine mounts. People have done it without it, but then they need to flex the engine on its mounts to squeeze the header thru, a procedure I find a bit risky.
The Mugen exhaust is an excellent choice. It sounds just right, it looks beautiful and saves a lot of weight. It's one of my most successful mods.
I would not wait for the exhaust to arrive, however. This way, you'll be able to feel the difference made by each of the items.
BTW, Victor, where are you sourcing the exhaust from? 4S?

I'm waiting for some instruments to measure the CAI effectiveness before installing.
BAX works fine (takes a week or so), but it is more expensive and cumbersome than EMS. At least in Portugal.
Beware: It is a huge box, so you need to take a big break to collect it.
To lower unit shipping costs, the best is to order a lot more, either for yourself or for a group. Most things fit inside the exhaust carton box and get shipping virtually for free. I can give you a lot of ideas... (BTW, what about a set of wheels? )

I may be interested in ordering a set of Mugen anti-roll bars... But I guess it may be cheaper to EMS them directly to me.
But I can certainly offer some ideas. Although really the best bet would be to convince other European owners to order stuff with you.
The BBS RG-R are my favourite wheels and you could try to have them repackage everything. The overall volume shouldn't be much different. The wheel sizes are 17" 7.5 and 8.5 with 48 and 55mm offset which I think is perfect for the S2K. They go for about 300,000 yen, are forged and look good.
Of other mods I have made I have no hesitation recommending the Toda flywheel, the spoon braces, the Honda Titanium dash kit and the Honda Sports Suspension. Spoon have nice cast holes brake discs (but not handed) and they also now offer replacement calipers, but that would require wheel spacers to work.
Lastly I would not go for the standard Mugen exhaust but for this:
It's a combination of a special exhaust with a piece of art rear end, partially made out of CF. The wing is optional and I would do without it, although of all wings I've seen it's the best looking one. Here is another picture:
It is not much more expensive than the exhaust alone...
But I can certainly offer some ideas. Although really the best bet would be to convince other European owners to order stuff with you.

I don't think the special mugen exhaust / rear bumper is on their site. You need to go to www.mugen-honda.co.jp into the aero parts to see it. Babelfish translates it alright. Cost for the combo is 266,000 yens as compared to 148,000 for the exhaust alone.

Luis, the BBS RG-R are certainly the best wheels available for the S2000 but I just don't like them.
Do you have any other suggestions (I'm still waiting for my Hyperrev magazine)? What do you think about the SSR GT1?
