Engine noise
Hi Lads
Have any of you guys had the engine run idle, without the oil cap on ?
Try that one out !, nice sound . And yes there won't be any oil spill

In november I did forget the oilcap, started the engine, drove 5 meters out of the garage.
Then I realized I'd made a terrible mistake and promptly turned the key to shutdown (much quicker than Windows).
It was a surprize that under the hood nothing had changed, no single oil droplet was seen. And my oilcap was where I stored it. Fffffffffff!

.Hi Maarten
I once drove 3 days without oil cap on my BMW 320i, it was driven at 140-180 on the motorway three days in a row, before I had time to investigate why the idle was so damm uneven . To my amazement, there was not a single drop of oil spilled into the engine bay !!!
