Using the look of someone's front bumper of a second+ car as a proxy to their bank account/net worth is pretty stupid. It's really bad logic and pretty insulting. Lots of times, the ones with the fanciest front bumpers are the most broke. The ones with the beat up bumpers laugh at the ones with the fancy bumpers for thinking they fancy.

K24 blocks are taller. I'm not familiar with the nuances of S2000 swaps but in civics a k24 meant a compromise in either hood raising or a low oil pan. It also does not rev as high reliably which is one of the desired characteristics of a s2000. I believe the k20 is also more ideal in terms of certain architectural considerations (rod/stroke ratio for one) which indicate that it is theoretically more stout. There is still no replacement for displacement in terms of pure numbers but that doesn't negate that a k20 may be preferred in some instances.

I enjoy skimming through the forums to read build threads like this. If we didnt have talented people doing interesting projects, we'd just be left with a forum full of negative twats like you insulting people because you have nothing else better to do during your day.

There are a lot more to engine mechanics than oil pressure/cavitation. We're on a s2000 forum... Why do you think a F20C has fuel cutoff at 9,150 RPM and a F22C at 8,350? Hint, it's not the oil pump.
The physics of the moving pieces and the metallurgy of those pieces are very important things to consider. The rotating assembly of a 2.4L engine is going to be heavier than that of a 2.0L engine, all other things equal. The pistons and rods will be heavier and need to travel more distance to meet the same RPM. For a piston to travel more distance in the same period of time, piston speed and acceleration is going to be higher. That is going to generate significantly more force than the smaller engine. There are also other geometric considerations that are different between the two such as Rod/Stroke ratio. The design/geometry will determine where/how those forces are applied. If you're actually interested, read up more on engine theory/design. I know next to nothing but I do find it interesting. A very rudimentary understanding of it will help you see why K20 vs. K24 is more of a question than just the oil pump.

I dunno, talking about the power "coming in more linearly". I mean NA, we are talking about engines that you have to really push to make them break the wheels loose. These are not 600 hp powerplants lol. I really feel he just liked the higher revs. IF that floats your boat, then go for it. No way would I choose it over a K24 in my S2k. K24 just makes more sense in my opinion even if I am giving up a little rpm.
