Might scope that out over the first weekend (11th-12th). I'll try and borrow the gf's laptop and post up

Nope...not that I remember. Pedro took us on the Cherohala Skyway to Tellico Plains and back on the Dragon.

Anyone done the Santeetlah Lake Loop?

Done it and don't reccommend it - lots of gravel, pot holes and slow slow driving conditions. Aside from the stone chipping your paint, any speed on the corners and your toast!

this is a gnarly little road that i accidentally took one time from fontana down to tapoco. its basically like a lane and a half, if you meet an oncoming car you are fubarred. its all downhill from fontana to tapoco and if you're lower than stock height you're gonna have to be real careful http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=We...via=1&t=h&z=14
