When Life Flashes By You
#11
Had the same experience on I-65 in December last year. Except I came to a halt facing the slow lane emergency lane and when looking out my passenger window, I saw the 18 wheeler headlights coming right at me. And I was stalled. Luckily I fired it up and moved in time. I was on ice instead of snow though, and RE-050's don't do well on ice either.
Glad you are okay, and was nice to meet you.

I'd like to commend Mocky on staying so calm while we went into a tailspin on the highway....even though I know he was freaking out on the inside.
It seemed so surreal to start doing 360 spins while another car passed up in the passing lane!
Toe, just think of it as super snow drifting Initial D style!
And p.s. your car will forgive you for leaving her by herself in an outside parking lot for the night.

yeah... i had to go about 25~30mph as long as possible.. it's snowing like crazy and the roads are horrendous. I have to go pick up my car tomorrow.. i can't believe i have to let her sleep outside in this terrible weather but i couldn't drive any further.
can't believe i almost destroyed the car with just a tad more than 1700 miles on her... she's only a week old
<--still shaken up a bit......but i'll be fine. i'll be happy when i have my car back in the garage washed, cleaned and sleeping in my garage

mocky,
man that must have been a scare. Glad to hear you are fine though. I don't think the s2ks like the snow very much, but is sounds like you handled the situation with a cool demeanor, and it's a good thing that your new car remains unscathed.
btw: great meeting you.

Good to hear you were ok!
I hit the same snow from Toledo north, but S03's work in the snow. This was the first time I'd driven my S through any accumulation - it was as steady as the Accord as long as I was careful with the throttle.
