What happens with the non-registered attendants
I happened to hear about this event last week at an autocross event. Tried to register but couldn't. One guy even tried to "sell" me his registration with a 60% profit so I declined it.
What happens if I show up for the driving experience, and stay somewhere else at night (since the lodge is full anyways)? Will I be kicked out?
I don't plan to go to the dinner, or reception, or get the goodies or any of that (I would've loved too, but I couldn't get in) I just want to join the caravan down there and take a few runs at the Dragon on Saturday. Would I be treated like a Renegade whose trying to get the fun without paying the organizers anything?

The autoevents site says "registration is now closed". Posted on the waiting list on this site and the organizers told me "sorry, contact somebody who wants to cancel to see if you can take his/her spot". So I did. But it wasn't fair. He wanted $150 for the spot. I said I would pay if I could also use his spot at the Hotel too, but he said he "shared" the room and couldn't give it to me. :-(

Naka, let me 'splain.
These events are a lot of work to put together and Airgate does everything he can to make each one better than the last. So, normally, we like to see everybody register and join in all the activities. This time, it's a little different.
We had to set a limit of 175 drivers because of facility limitations and every spot was taken. The reason you only see 173 at MyAutoEvents is because some people dropped out without paying at the last minute. We can't reopen registration because the Tshirts and all the other "stuff" has already been ordered and shipped to the Dragon.
So....since we _can't_ register any more people you shouldn't feel bad about making your own arrangements and joining us on the Dragon! You won't be able to join us for dinner or be eligible for any of the stuff that will be given away but it will still be a great drive. We ordered some extra shirts so you might be able to buy one there, but no guarantees! I guess we've reached a milestone of some kind when people start scalping our tickets.
Now that you know we have two of these events a year, I hope you'll keep an eye on the forum and register early for DragonBall.
See you there!

No problem if you want to show up and check things out. Besides, nobody will know if you are an "official" participant or not.
Even if it was obvious, I doubt any would complain about it.
As to the scalper - I hope you have to eat it.
