I just rolled 128,000 miles just this morning as I drove into work this morning. The Bruised Banana is a 2001. Purchased it from CarMax with 3000 miles on the odo in Nov '01. Surprisingly I was already the 3rd owner in that short timeframe. Since then...I've not let anyone else own it [or me]...including The Road. I love this car, its every twitch, the throttle roll-on,...you name it! It is, without a doubt, the most exhilarating automobile I've had the pleasure of enjoying in my 40 years.
