In for the drive and Park Grill for dinner.

I'd really like to join you guys but I am not quite sure I can make it in time. I have to be in Robbinsville until about 2:30-3, I'd then have to go to Fontana to pick up my Uncle I probably couldn't be at the park Grill until 6pm at the earliest assuming traffic wasn't horrible.

If I was just trying to "get there" would I be better off taking 441 through the park? I've driven it only once and I remember Cherokee being a mess and it was slow going.

Fastest way to Gatlinburg from Fontana....
Run thru the Dragon, to the Foothills Parkway....Take it till the end...You will dead-end on 321, turn right ....Take 321 to Townsend...turn left @ the light..( staying on 321 ) It will dead-end, in Pigeon Forge, @ traffic light 5 ...turn right, and go into Gatlinburg...all the way thru town, to traffic light 10 ...Park Grill is on the left at light 10 ...
