Should we bring a fair amount of cash or is a credit card sufficient for most things around there? I plan to have Billman do some work for me, so I'll bring cash for that. But beyond that...?
credit card is fine. there is an atm at the hotel. if you eat at the restaurants at the hotel you can just have them charge it to your room and pay when you check out. the restaurants also accept credit cards so either way you're good
I paid too much on credit card my whole (young, 22) life and now I am going back to "if I dont have it I wont spend it" method.

I believe the restaurant we're going to in Franklin only takes cash, so if you're doing that drive, bring the paper. Bring more than you think you'll need.

A number of Canuckians will be at WTD and we can bring some if you ask nicely. You can find them at any corner store here.
I feel like I should just bring some random bags, just in case.

That's correct. Cafe REL only takes cash. He's old-fashioned.

Hehe, I'm sort of the opposite. I am very good with my CC's and not so good with cash, so I tend to carry only plastic. It's probably because I can track expenses with a card using statements and services like Mint.com but cash just vanishes into thin air from my wallet.

There are threads about ketchup chips alone, somewhere in this forum

I brought 2 bags last year and shared with as many as I could, and all of a sudden it turned out I am supposed to pack my whole car with these chips! Well shareall you can bring some too, Ill be bringing 4 bags. 1 for myself for sure! Oh, you can get it at Costco for a really cheap price.

I'll throw a few bags in!
It's a long drive down from Canada, but since I haven't driven my CR since packing it away for the Winter I am really looking forward to the long drive.
