Default Scenery around the Dragon - no cars

This was my fourth year attending a Dragon event and my first time touring the areas around the Dragon. I've only processed 15 of the 400+ photographs I took, and will add more as I finish more.

From 5,380 feet off Cherhola

Bald River Falls - off a beautifully scened service road off Cherhola

The falls are over 100 feet high, and you can climb above them.

Another shot from Cherhola - around 3,500 feet

From the Foothills around 2,500 feet

EDIT: Scroll way down for many more photos.

Beautiful photos. I had hoped to get to those same falls this trip, but it didn't work out. Now I definitely have to go see them!

Cascade Falls - a little trail next to the Ranger Station on 28 (about 6 miles into the Hellbender from Fontana Village). The falls are maybe half a mile in.

If you take a left to continue up the Wolf Trail, instead of turning right to go to Cascade Falls you'll cross various bridges like this:

And the river looks like this the whole way!

Nearing Sundown at Fontana Dam (more to come)
