Roll Bar

Roll Bar
While at WTD, I saw a couple of Ss with a blue 4 point roll bar.
I am ready to add a bar so that I can participate in HPDE as I used to.
My previous car was a Mazda RX7 HT. I ran that at Summit Point, VIR, and CMP. None of those tracks accept the factory hoops on the S.
Can anyone here put me onto these bars or any other that would be reasonable in price?
Thanks.

Summit Point does accept the factory hoops. I've registered for a May 21 event there as have other Mid-A'ers. Above and beyond the track rules, you've got to know about the sponsoring organization's rules as well. While the May 21 event does not require a bar -- other events there may.
That said, the Safety21 bar will get into to most events (non-SCCA) at either track. I'm unfamiliar with CMP. Also, there is a one for sale in our region if you drop by the Mid-Atlantic subforum..

Unless things have changed in the last couple of months, most of the groups that run at CMP have no problem with the factory roll hoops either. NASA and PCA are execptions, however.

The Atlanta group had a track day last year (8/19/2006) at CMP.
Rollbar wasn't required. They were requesting that tops be up unless you had arm restraints.
We'll probably be back in the fall.
