PS - Raul, if you haven't found a lunch place yet, I got some info from "The General" who just did a run at the Dragon this past weekend. Apparently "Dragon Grill" opened 2 weeks ago at Deals Gap. He said it has plenty of paved parking and the food was GREAT. I have a few pic's if you wanna see. Lemme know!
Thanks Wendy! I agree, the Dragon Grill is awesome. However, I noticed that the past weekend I visited, the Grill was quite busy with lots of motorcyclists and "other" car owners. Add to that

I've already made arrangements with the Tapoco Lodge. They'll be serving lunch for us and it's going to be delicious! If you are somewhat familiar with Tapoco, it's about 2 or 3 miles down the Dragon (Yeah, we get to STAY on 129) and Tapoco will be on the left. I'm excited about the accomodations as they will serve lunch during a 2 hr. window. Allowing folks to enjoy more of the Dragon/area roadways and decide how/when to have lunch.

If you want to grab your lunch in a bag and head out to Fontana, you can do that! If you want to enjoy your lunch on the deck of the Tapoco Lodge, go for it. Prefer the indoors, you'll have it. I'm really excited about this!

See everyone soon!

If you haven't already, look at the I-75S caravan thread. A good group of us are meeting in Cincinnati Friday morning for the drive down to the Knoxville area.
