I've spoken with Raul a few times over the last couple weeks. He is still swamped and apologizes for not having had the time to update this thread....
That said...its just ~ 3 weeks away now!

I am going to make reservations 2nite at the hotel. I can stay on the night of the 26th go driving on the 27th (my wife is excited)
That night I will have to cut out and go meet some of my family that is driving up from florida to see my wife and I. So as long as all things fall into place and there are no large dust storms that last for days and we dont get shot down. We will be there. Have you ever made the drive from the dragon over to clingmans dome and down to Gatlinberg? That too is a awsome bit of road. Thanks again for the help.

OK I made my Hotel Reservations. Now just a few days a few thousand miles and I will get to drive something faster than a HUMMV. I cant wait to have somthing with a radio in it.
