It's just at the base of Fontana Dam. Easy to find if you know where Fontana Dam is.

Keith, your photos are awesome and thanks for offering again this year!! Maybe Willie Gee can run up the side of the dam for a photo like last year.

I think the main PITA last year was what dead-bird said, we parked, then moved cars. The move mainly was trying to squeeze more cars into the oval. So we either avoid the oval, or do like Keith's picture showed, three wide and everyone knows to fill in as you come in. I think getting all the cars in color order would be time consuming, but that could be different this year coming from Fontana instead of the trek from Alcoa.

How about first ones in take the parking spots, next ones go 3 wide in the oval, if it can be throughout, then everyone else fills in pointing face first at the damn where Keith will be. Just a thought.

Another possibility; before we leave Fontana Saturday morning, we will most likely assemble/line up the cars on the ball fields (where we'll hold the driver's meeting), so this could be an opportunity to get group photos (cars and/or people).

Due to the layout of Fontana, and the fact that cars will be parked at cabins, near the Inn, etc., we won't have ONE big central parking lot, so this could be a nice way to get a group shot in the morning.

I just think if everyone wants this done, then the organizers should keep it in mind and set aside some time, and how they want it done prior, so its not impromptu.

Once settled, the group picture information, time, etc. will definitely be in the event program.

Running up the dam was for this year Willie, but if we have the fog like last year, who knows what Keith will capture, hopefully you staying on your side of the yellow line though hehe

Without question. A classic shot. People comment on it all the time. Shay has a signed poster of it in his game room. I am hoping we can do some more photography work this time around.
