Ed decided to do a loop-de-loop on the Cherohala and put a neat racing stripe down the passenger side of his car. He's okay and the car was driveable but will need a set of bumpers, a fender, possibly a tail light and a lot of metal pounding. One of the perils of trying to keep up with Billman is that sometimes you're better off NOT trying to keep up with Billman.

Good to hear all are ok. Scary to lose it on the Cherohala considering the drops and speed involved on that road. That's probably the 3rd or 4th driver to wreck trying to keep up with Billman during Dragon events. Billman is Billman. People have to leave the ego at home. Only Jesus in a functionally modified (aka non-stancenation) GPW AP2 CR can beat Billman, and last I heard, Jesus has better things to do than wheel an S2000 around

I had the opportunity to see the skid marks and impact of the accident on a skyway run later that day and if there was no guard rail.... death would of been a good possibility due to the speed of the hit and the way he lost the car. Also, if another car was oncoming, that would of been tragic.
Very lucky to say the least.
There is NOTHING to prove on public roads. You go and have fun and check your ego at the door.
If you can't do that you are a danger to yourself and the others around you.
A few people were not surprised to see this coming.
Ed, I hope you learned your lesson, if not, then please don't continue to be apart of group drives. You are putting others lives at risk and I'm fine with saying it publically.
