The car is finally back together and almost everything works. Not enough time tomorrow night for a full wax job so maybe a little detailing spray, pack and gas up.

I wasnt gonna do a full detail of my car, after all the miles its gonna look like shit anyways. When I get back, end of April its getting full wax and wash + detail. I gotta pack still, wow. All fluids changed, and alignment too.

 

i cant find a do not disturb sign...brb gotta go search the top floor

 

I know ...

 

So, what's done thus far:

- Washed The Bruised Banana
- Removed hardtop (not gonna be on for quite a few months )
- Set up on jack stands
- Changed the motor oil & filter
- Cleaned engine bay
- Cleaned door jams
- Pulled all wheels, removed tar & [OMG soooo much!] aluminum oxidation, added a coat of wax
- Cleaned brake calipers
- Remounted wheels, torqued to 81FT/LB
- Removed tar all around quarter panels (other than a claybar effort ~ '03, this is the first time the BB has seen *this* kinda )
- Removed paint from Invidia exhaust tips
- Remounted keyhole covers (they were 'stretching out' cupping air anytime I'd hitting trip-digit bursts during homebound commutes )
- Swapped hoods & reinstalled hood pins (rockin' the Top Secret for WTD )


Still need to:

- Double-check tire pressure
- Check torque on spark plugs
- Wax car (this too, not done since ~ '03!...and frankly my shoulders and fingertips are still mulling this one over )
- Clean trunk jam
- Vacuum trunk & remove unneeded junk in trunk saddlebag
- Pull jack kit outta trunk for mo' storage
- Rewire some stereo electronics...again
- Touch-up all paint chips (might take two bottles of touch-up paint! )
- Clean windows
- Top off windshield washer fluid
- Vacuum & detail interior
- Magnets!
- ...and at least 10 other things I've overlooked...
