Hi Youse guys, as we say in the Chicago area, you know I don't post much, and don't show up until the event is near, but never miss a Spring Dragon (since '06). Read yesterday in my Road & Track about the reporter running into concrete barriers in Graham County, installed up past the ditches incase the knobby tire(d) types show their true colors (boy, I quelled a lot of wrath saying it like that, and bad words!!). The pics got me itchy to be there, but always the realist, I'm really wondering about this, especially as seen from being on the (very) outskirts of the third largest metro area in the country.
Since I dislike having to unwrap reservations, carry balances to whenever, etc., Ken, I'm wondering if you can or have considered moving back the registration end date a similar month?? Jane and I (and Rocky) are fine so far, I am optimistic about that continuing, our state is under a total stay at home order, unfortunately being older now and retired, nothing really changed THAT much ("that's a joke, son"). I do miss the cancellation of my two band activities, a concert band/ wind orchestra (as they call it in Europe--sounds cooler) and our Jazz Ensemble. Now that the "stay home order" is extended, I'm going to try to stop watching the news and endless TV and fire up the "recording studio" and record some difficult numbers, to pass the time. Drove Foothills Parkway to see the dogwoods last week. Great show and not much traffic. Unfortunately neither will last! The National Park is still closed, including the roads. No word on when it will reopen. Looking forward to June!
