Knoxville/UT @ Night:

Do any of the locals know what that last one is? It looked like a walkway/park near the hospital...

After a 45 minute wait near the gravity cavity, I finally got a chance to get someone... Here's Hiro, my camera on Speed-drive mode:

And some Sunday morning "action"

The last one... a family in a Grand Vitara was part of Mike and I's Kentucky caravan (going 80-90 almost the whole time), and the first couple times we passed, the kids waived... so I took a picture of them.

Wow Jeff. . .these pics are really great. I love the night shots in Knoxville. I heard you say that you would be doing some night shots, but had no idea how great they would be. Looks like Knoxville has some great shots to be taken!

Thanks for sharing these and I'm gearing to see you all again in September!

Yes, Knoxville does have some cool shots... the hard part, as with any night shot, is trying to find a place to take the picture from where there are no nearby light sources. Parking wasn't an issue, a couple of times I just stopped in the middle of the road and got out and looked around.

FYI, the night pictures are as follows:

Sunsphere
Plaza Tower (tallest in Knoxville)
Bunch of buildings
Riverview Tower (2nd tallest) & Plaza Tower

Thanks for adding to the adventure Jeff! I'm glad you could make it (a long drive for you - no doubt)! The pics are great. The pic you asked about is a section of the Old World's Fair Site (1982) that was just renovated for a July 4th opening this year. They spent 11 million on it (according to them). They've turned that area into a city park. Hope to see you again in the fall!
