What about rolling out by color? Just a silly thought, but it would be sweet to have a shot of all yellow S2000s snaking through a section, or all black, or all blue, etc.

Now see what ya dun done Darryl? Just kidding.
This could be possible. To all listening...and I'll discuss this further with Raul...there really is a possibility for this. I don't believe we'll necessarily roll out by color from the motel however. We could try...but that will be very time consuming trying to get ourselves organized right there, folks gabbing, etc. And on top of that, we'll be doing a little weaving through traffic trying to get towards The Dragon & we'd likely get out of color assortment.
What I'd propose is that we'll stop off at the campsite area along the lake. All of us. And those diehards that would have gone out for some early runs need to meet us at the campsite (not the gravel lot). We'd need for everyone to have radios...and to focus participation so we could do this quickly. I'd want everyone to drop off the road rather far, so that we could re-group by colors right up against the road. We did this at Fall Colors and it wasn't terribly painful. But it does take some time. And that's taking away from Dragon Time...so I'd ask for focus. In the re-group, if we arranged everyone with their front end ready to drive up on the road (rather than parallel parked), we could all fall-on the road at the very same time...with the rear folks coming on first. This would keep non-S2000 traffic out of our group & do so most efficiently. Then the roll would begin...
Another benefit from this is that we could then arrive at the base of Fontana in color order as well. Also good for that pic too .
I'm personally one that would say I always thought color-grouping was kinda silly. Looking a little "factory parking lot"-ish. Then I saw it in action during Fall Colors '04. Very cool. Especially in motion
Just to eliminate the hassles of "Ooooh, 'X' is the best color & *that* should go first"... ...Raul & I will work up the color orientation (if he's up for this at all -- this may be more organization than Raul wants to fiddle with ).

^^^ Please snap away! .
I'm not sure how to take your killboy comments (sounds like you're ticked ). In that "its a free world" for folks to choose what they wish, killboy.com offers a very flexible means for owners to review pics of theirs & friends' rides, purchase only what they're interested in, etc....and for WTD, likely receive a rolling vid of all our cars snaking The Dragon during a Monster Roll.
Regardless, because I like to see rolling shots of all our cars, I'm simply pleased when *any* good photogs are present at such an event. And while I'm glad you're making yourself up to the challenge Keith, I'm also appreciative of Killboy's willing assistance here as well.
The more the merrier .
