Default Looks like Ill be keeping it slow at the Dragon.

Due to stupid behavior between myself and a Black 911 we both now have misdemeanor charges of reckless driving. I'm tempted to pull out all together but I know that in two weeks I'll be more comfortable and ready to join everyone again for some fun. I just need to keep it safe and slow, so please keep on top of me during the weekend to make sure I don't risk my license.

Thanks

And to think I thought you wanted to keep it slow on the Dragon was because DarkSubRosa would be following you.

WOAH!! Snap!! That sounds like a bad deal.....you still need to come to The Dragon, player!! The event is more than just driving, it is meeting up with old friends we do not get to see very often. I even talked to Jake a few weeks back to make sure you were coming down. Come to the event, just take it a little easy. Remember...there will be 175 other S2000's there to take the attention away from your car.

So...what is the story with the 911?

Indeed...... I know how much you enjoy the dragon, but make sure you get the other issues cleared up first... the dragon will be waiting for you the next time

(and with 175+ s2000s, 20+ evos, preludes, nsxs, none of us are going anywhere this year)

He should still come to this event....we are never promised a 'next time'....the intro page of s2ki today shows that.

Jason, just follow Mocky around. You'll never be going fast enough to get in trouble. Bummer about the 911 incident

See you in two weeks!

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Right now I'm more inclined to make rash decisions but I'm sure that I will still come to the Dragon. Although if I still feel like I do now I may sell the car after the event. As for the story with the 911, it was a black 995 with HRE's on it. We were just playing on the highway going very fast but we never cut anyone off etc. The two officers that pulled us over were both very nice and helpful. They spent a good half hour with us, cracked jokes, and only hit us with wreckless driving when it could have been drag racing as well.

I really don't know what to expect from this point. I'm trying to find a lawyer today to better inform me of what to do next.

Do not sell the car just because of this....you will regret it. The S2000 brings you joy and that is reason enough to keep it. Plus, I am still saving up money for your LM's.
