Knoxville: Who wants to eat where?
#18
Actually Mike there's one real close.
Thought I would offer a God's eye view of ground zero. There are many places to eat in west Knoxville. Of course all of the good ones will be crowded so reservations would be advisable.
These are some of the most convient places in the immediate area.
A) Signature Inn
B) Courtyard (Marriott)
C) Red Roof Inn
D) Puelo's Grill (Great place - packed on weekends).
E) Gradys Resturant
F) Carrabba's Italian Grill
G) The Outback
H) Cracker Barrel
I) McScrooge's package store - considering location and selection - best in the area.
J) Pep Boys great for off the shelf but don't let them touch your car!
K) Kroger's
L) Home Depot
M) Park West Hospital - big/close/best in the area.

Sorry, the Mushroom is on campus. You could either take I40 east to the 17th street exit - turn right and be on Cumberland Ave (middle of campus) in about 6-8 blocks or you could follow Kingston pike into town (Kingston pike turns into Cumberland as you go onto campus). I'm guesstamating it's about 10-15 min. by interstate - depending on about 15 or so redlights about the same on the pike.
