If my memory serves, this is the run where most mortals can't keep up and would likely die, correct?

Yeah. I like to go really fast but I'd likely slow the group down. Most of the regular groups are too slow but I'm also not good enough with the new car to trust myself at the speeds you guys will probably be at. Maybe next year I'll join the suicide club.

there is no shame in running with these guys and just being at the back of the pack. i mean hell, if they all get pulled over and you just happen to be bringing up the rear at a reasonable pace, the leos wont even look at you

and just to add, this is just like any other run. if you want to try and run hard but realize the guy behind you might be faster, and there is no shame in hitting a pull off and letting him by

i know there is an amount of machismo, cant let other people be faster than me. someone is always better is how i look at it. im not going to wreck my baby in a pissing contest. we are all out there to have fun and if someone is faster than me, i have no problem admitting that to them and complimenting them on their abilities (as well as balls)

This run is for those confident in their driving skills, are seasoned on the dragon, and want to run with people that wont slow them down.

Everyone is welcome. We will be the most controlled group, never touching the double yellow. We favor the white line and make a point to cross it and stay on it as much as possible. A single touch of the double yellow I'll stop the run and ask you to go ahead and do your own thing. I've never had to do that.

I always try to put the running order in order of experience. There is no keep-up to be played.

If someone faster is behind you, just pull off and let them pass. The dragon has LOTS OF NEW PAVED PULLOFFS! Wait for them, and use them. No need to make a panic stop in the weeds. Wait for a safe paved pull off.

There are runs at less than half the speed where people cross the double yellow or wind up in the woods.

This run has always been very safe, and crazy fun.

There will be things explained before the run with a driviers meeting. There will be no worries for the regular FCPD club, or the new members

I encourage you to join us. Everyone goes at their own speed. Always. The FCPD rules allow you to do so with your own cushion front and rear and run with guys you will be happy with.
