I had an awesome time! Thanks Ken for creating this very special event. I really enjoyed meeting some new faces too, Porsche Tom , Jamie, Bob, Lindsey, and of course Dave and Iris (Aye). Along with all the usual suspects, including Dave (Wingman) and his wife Taska, Bama Dave, Mike & Cathy, Lee, and Scooter.

I'm very glad I joined the "Drive to Everywhere" that really made my day on Saturday!

Went through Maggie Valley and picked up some Chocolate Fudge. Made it home at 5:45
It was nice meeting you Nicky..along with Tulley and Hannah! Kelsey and I enjoyed hanging with you all.

I made it home around 4pm; no tickets, no wrecks, and not too much rain so it was a good weekend at the Dragon.
Nice meeting you and Kelsey. Thanks to you and Kelsey, Justin and Melody, and Hannah, for letting us old folk hang around with you young guys.

We spent one night on the way home. Linda and I had a super time with all our friends.

Thank you Ken for putting this together and thank you Mike for your participation..

I could not believe that my AP1 got 33 MPG coming home. I was on 75 and 80 all the way. Must be that I have good compression with that kind of mileage.

Let's do this again.

Touch up paint, and if it bothers you enough, have it professionally detailed afterwards to have the touch up spots smoothed out to the rest of your paint to help minimize their visibility.

Rock chips add character to the S2000. But when the bumper, hood and fenders start looking like you are going into light speed from Star Wars, it might be time to get a respray of the front clip. The Black Mamba is ready for hers but one more road trip before that happens.

Shows you're a veteran of Dragon runs. After about 2 years, you just get the hood and fenders repainted.

It's hard not to get 4 or 5 per trip. Not following so close helps. Being the group leader is the best.
Clear bra or track tape helps but may peel the paint if not careful on removal.
The system that has always worked for me is two or three Dragon trips and sell the car. Buy another one and start over again before the chips get out of hand.

Oddly enough, the roads were cleaner in April for WTD than they were in June IMO.
