MyBad and JAGlady will start the treck on I40 on Friday, April 19 from Wilmington. We'll meet up with airgate and others in Raleigh at 9:00AM. Then its straight out I40 to Knocksville. If anyone wants to convoy with us, let me know where you want to meet us (on I40) and I'll give you our ETA.

I'm sure some of us Charloteans could meet up in Statesville. I'll try and find a place.

 

Exit 151 off of I-40 in Statesville has a couple restauraunts if we want to meet there for lunch. The I-40 convoy should be able to reach us between 11:30 and 12:00. We could meet at Pizza Inn just off the highway at 11:30.

There are some "better" restauraunts in the area but I'm assuming people are more interested in saving the fine dining for Asheville.

We may be in Ashville a little early for dinner. We definately want to eat BEFORE getting to Alcoa! Maybe Knoxville would be a good place to stop.
