Arrived safe in New Orleans. Ten hours flat with an uneventful ride. Correction: Every drive in an "S" is an event. No problems anywhere on route home. Thanks to all who made the DBR fantastic.
Remember; Time spend driving an "S" is not deducted from your life span!!

Hello to you too! It was a pleasure to meet you.
Had breakfast at Deal's Gap with Florian and "Fender Bender" , crawled across a majority of the Tail behind two HDs who were nice ( ) enough to pull over half way down the hill from the overlook, enjoyed Happy Valley for the first time, picked up the kids and got home at about 6:00.
Thanks to the Big Four for another great event! And a special thanks to Raul for the epic "guided" Hellbender run last night.

I left Fontana at 7:15AM, stopped for about 20 minutes for some grub,in the driveway at 3:30PM.
Man I am glad to be out of that car. I love her but too much seat time for my tired old bones.

Well if I had an Ironbutt like you, it would be a walk in the park.
Looking forward to seeing you and Sharon in April................no excuses this time.

Departed Fontana @11 and arrived home around 5pm. Stopped for lunch as well as a climb up the lookout on the Foothills Parkway - well worth the short hike though I wish it wasn't so cloudy
Still no idea what the noise is in my back wheel, but she made it home and still no obvious signs of what is wrong (though it continues to get louder). Will have to tear into that over the next few days and have a look - will probably start with the axle nut since that's cheap and easy. Thanks to whoever pointed it out!
