Group Drives Planned!
#21
Thanks, folks! We'll keep track of these and include them in the itinerary.
FluKy15, you don't have to "sign up" for the group drives, but please post your interest on the appropriate threads, so the drive leaders can keep track of who plans to go with them.
There is also LOTs of free time to simply enjoy driving the Dragon all weekend!

Any 'organized group drives' have evolved over the years typically as a result of veteran 'Dragonballers' looking to give more Dragon-time to newer owners. Having come to know The Dragon's curves (pretty well )...the traffic (all too well )...and the Po-Po (a little too well for comfort )...we organize small group drives just to step away from the iconic Dragon now and then.

Sheila...
I most likely will NOT be leading drives either day this year as in the past....
Two weeks ago..... walking the dog.... slipped on ice, and the right foot came down hard onto the sidewalk...
Thought I'd just bruised it.
Friday I went to the doctor... he did an x-ray and MRI...
Guess what I did, fractured a bone in my right foot.
I now have a frickin cast on the foot for 8-12 weeks, not allowed to put any weight on it....
So..... if it is on for anything over 9 or 10 weeks, no Dragon driving for me this year!

Back to Mike... Umm, Mike, you already have a leadfoot...so what's the big deal about having a plasterfoot?
Oh, wait...no, I've got it! Just have the doc 'plaster' your foot to the gas pedal! Then you'll be set!
But in all seriousness...do get better soon!. And DON'T let this lil' setback keep you and Kathy from attending! Remember, the doc said 8-12 weeks. And 8 weeks would still make a Dragon trip a possibility!

Here's pulling for the "8 week" option. Regardless, we sure do want you and Kathy there. I agree; you can always give her the wheel for a while.....
Get better soon.
