Default Gas Prices

Last Saturday I left northern VA with gas prices for premium above $4 / gallon. In Mt Jackson VA - off I-81 mm 283 premium was $3.89 at Loves Gas ... Heading even further south ,,,,, just a bit north of the I-40/I-81 interchange premium was $3.69 .... By the time I hit Knoxville, premium averaged $3.89 (Weigle, Pilot). Something happened Monday mid morning as gas jumped $.10 a gallon in Knoxville.....and its been pretty steady since ...

Maybe since congress signed anothe CR ... maybe this price will at least HOLD for now ...

Safe travels everyone ......

Some arithmatic:

S2000 = 26MPG (Yeah, its a stretch but play along )

Gas = $4/Gal

The Dragon = 13 Miles

So......

One round trip run on The Dragon costs $4

That's worth it

yep .. and it got worse yesterday on the way home to NorVA ... Premium $4.14 here .....

I think the truck stops - Loves and Pilot seem to have the "cheaper" prices .... at least on I-81
