Fuel Shortage in N C
#21
My problem is that I am way east of the dragon in North Carolina. I have a full tank now but it will maybe get me as far as Asheville. Asheville is pretty much closed down. I got that news from my nephew who lives there. I didn't want to chance driving to there and not being able to continue or even return home. From my home to Fontana is 400 miles.
I hated to bail on this one because I have been so looking forward to it.
I hope all goes well for all of you.
Hope to see you in September.

Once all the locals fill up... should be gas available....
Might have to go an extra few miles to find it....
That's my story and sticking with it....
That being said... who is a AAA member.... want to stay close to you! lol

Drove down today from VA took the southern route in TN, stopped a few times just to top off and really didn’t need to, no lines. Did the last fill in Serverville and drove the last 60 miles via the foothills pky and 129
