I heard something indicating that TN fell outside of the scope of effected areas from the hacking. I don't know how true that is and if the outage continues, I'm sure it will become more widespread. I'm wondering if my home state of MD will be impacted.

are people hoarding it in tanker trucks or something?

Yikes! I experienced something similar to this in Dallas a couple years back and this seems eerily similar. Media playing it up and writing articles about it is only going to make it worse over the next couple of days. The stations in Dallas were out for about a week before reliable gas was available.

Hackers deployed ransomware that has impacted a major pipeline that covers the east coast (Obviously South-East, I don't know the full scope). Much like the great TP debacle, people are buying as much gas as possible, fearing it will dry up. There is also legitimately a supply shortage. Some news outlets are reporting no shortage, some are showing pics like those in this thread.

So what's the thoughts on this situation? Looks like it will have an impact on the event, probably hard to say how much, but don't want to be stranded with no way to fill up either.

I live near the entrance of the Dragon on the TN side. I just got a full tank of 93 and drove around a bit today and didn't see any signs of shortages. Hoping the idiocy stays on the Carolina side.

We're actually on our way over there. Staying close to Robinsville. Our host said there's lines when pumping gas. Wondering if TN/GA has any problems...
