Default Fly Fishing Tournament at the DB Run

I'd like to organize a fly fishing tournament to be held the day before the Run. If anyone's interested, please post. Let me know if you're familiar with the streams in the area and have any recommendations.

Tight Lines!

I don't know anything about Fly Fishing so I don't want to be included but I might be interested in tagging along to watch for a bit. I've never seen anyone Fly Fish before and I'd like too.......

I don't know that I'm qualified for a tournament (still pretty much a novice), but hubby (Ron) and I both fly fish, and would be interested in possibly wetting a line. (I just got a new pair of waders and boots for Christmas!). I'm not familiar with any streams near the Dragon, but would like to be!

Glad to know you guys and gals are such sports!

We don't have to be competitive with this (something tells me there will be enough of that flying around on the Run). A nice relaxing day on the streams will probably be in order.

With just a little practice, you'll have enough skill and knowledge to be dangerous! Maybe we can start out with the more experienced people giving some casting lessons.

Sondra, JAGlady will be accompanying me. Although she is still a novice, she catches the most fish! I don't know if that's a statement about her.......or me!!

I'll pass along more info as I get it.

Instead of fly fishing, how about if Webgod and myself start off downstream, and scare the fish up to you and you grab them with nets?

Just take our S2000's down near the stream... crank em up to 9000 rpm... and those fish will be swiming the other way in no time!!!
