Just checked Killboy.com this is what they have as of 5/5:All area roads are open with the exception of 441/Newfound Gap out of Cherokee that runs through the middle of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We expect that to be open any day now, with parks opening this weekend.
Our stores are open and have been all through this.
Accommodations in NC are opening up this weekend, so call around if you need to book anything in NC. TN has been accepting bookings at hotels and resorts throughout.
For camping we recommend https://whisperingriverresort.com/ in Townsend, TN at the moment. Other camping areas in NC should be opening up this weekend, we should know something more definity on 5/6.

But according to their Facebook page today 5/6:
Updated: 5/5/2020 - 9pm EST
Conditions are...very fluid to say the least right now, so keep checking back.
All area roads are open.
Great Smoky Mountain National Park will open Saturday, May 9 including thru traffic on US441. Cherokee NC will also open on Saturday, May 9.
The Blue Ridge Parkway in much of North Carolina is closed, but we expect the status will change in the next few days.
The stores at the Dragon are open. DGMR is open for food, gas, and lodging.
Accommodations in NC are opening this weekend. We advise to call ahead to verify availability.
Camping is open in TN and GA, we are unclear regarding Forest Service or private campground camping in NC. Will update when we find out more.
TN and GA accommodations are open and are accepting bookings at hotels and resorts throughout.
Most restaurants are open for take out. Some restaurants are also available for limited seating in TN..
AND, most important..... there have been ZERO reports of Murder Hornets on the Dragon as of today..... but just like everything else.... We will post updates when more information is available.

Unfortunately, that's not correct (at least as far as some places are concerned). Phase 2 of the reopening will have places like Fontana reopening. Phase 1 is being implemented this week.
