Default The Dragon modifications/maintenance thread

What's up guy's/gals, just wondering what modifications/ maintenance items you have done to your "S" since the last time you been to the dragon. To the "first timers" you can post as well, this thread might help give you ideas to have your baby prepared for this event or future events to WTD/DBR. you can post pics if you like

I'll start...

new star spec front and rear tires on my ap2v1 rims 225/255
new oem brake pads
painted my calipers
engine/oil/dif fluid chance
a gopro 2 camera
4.77's & stage 1.5 rebuilt differential, built by puddydad (getting it installed this weekend)
and an alignment (after my new differential is put back on the car)

Mods? Hmmmm...let's see...updated the iPod, chrome-plated floor mats, chopped and channeled door handles, changed the turn-signal fluid, reduced the GVW (went on a diet). I think that's all...

Added 2 doors, half a liter of displacement, a turbo, AWD, a solid roof, lost a gear, and will have a stage 1 tune.

Same color though...

I need to know who changed the turn signal fluid and did it help with the handling of the car in tight turns on mountain roads. The GVW should really help if you ask me. That Canadian should have a hard time keeping up with you now. Installing the rumble seat next week for at least two more passengers can enjoy the open air experience too, you remember them Ken since you were born back in that era. I also added a two liter bottle of coke onto the engine so I want not have to downshift into second on the dragon like Brett. The car really likes the added power. See you guys later BD

I noticed that I now can hit VTEC at lower speeds in reverse with new turn-signal fluid. I was going to do the driveshafts with prop-wash, but I didn't have quite enough. I found another help was to change the cabin air. I used NC pine scented and now that dawg really hunts well (or in the vernacular...hunts gooder than most).

Down here in Alabama we use the "Doe in Heat" scent in your cabin filters now that get some action with the male deer population down here. But you have to be sure to miss all the horny bucks trying to catch and hump the S when driving at night. Now that is a site to see.

Last year's Wake the Dragon, I had one of those so called "Bucks" do his best to jump into my "S" on the Dragon on the way to Fontana, coming from the Park Grill...on the way in...around 9:00PM...That was quite an awakening...Car wasn't hurt bad, knocked the driver's side mirror around, a couple of small dents ( dent doc fixed ) ....and lots of "slobber" inside the car....Scared the Hell outta me, though...
