We have so much to do around the house, the cars, the bike. We won’t have a lot of free time. Don’s really sore so he’s in low gear now.

Any run ins from your group with the police? I coincidentally was there the same day with a group of my own, however we ran the Tail at the end of the day - a little after 5pm. Cars #4 & 5 in our caravan got pulled for going 58 and 59 mph (in a 30). (I was car #1). We passed a sheriff's car going in the opposite direction. I wasn't personally concerned because I was going through a hairpin at the time. Officer was kind though, gave them both tickets for 34 in a 30. Really just a slap on the wrist.

No problems on the Dragon at all.

I was on my way home going through there around 330-400 and saw the police sitting on a corner and another one pulled out in front of me and was surprisingly quick in his new Explorer. He pulled over a motorcycle. I was counting my lucky stars that I was stuck behind a slower vehicle when I saw the first one

He had to get on the brakes very hard and he went down. He skinned up his hands, his knees are brush burned and he is hurting pretty bad. After picking up the pieces and he got the bike able to run, we headed back to Fontana. The man in the Jeep Rental place was very kind. We got the bike loaded and left Tuesday morning around 9ish and got home about 9:30 pm. The bike has a lot of damage too. He has a doctors appointment tomorrow.
Oh no! Sorry to hear about Don's accident! That is such a nice bike. Glad to know he's mostly one piece!

I drove across the dragon on Sunday morning only to find a trooper on a bike about a mile and a half in. Waited at the overlook for a minute to see if he would come back through. To my surprise he did but he turned around right in front of me went back in. It ended up being a wasted venture for me but it appeared that he was only pulling over bikes.
