DFR 2023 - Fridays are for Franklin!

DFR 2023 - Fridays are for Franklin!
With a twist! We'll sacrifice ice cream for more driving. 
The pace will be mild to moderate.
Plan to meet up in front of the Wildwood Grill around 9:45 am on Friday morning so we can leave by 10. We'll head to Franklin via Wayah Rd. The route to Wayah Rd runs through Robbinsville. The route we take to Robbinsville will depend on the status of construction on 143. In Franklin we'll have lunch at everyone's favorite little Italian restaurant, Cafe' Rel! They only accept cash, so be sure to bring some!
After lunch, we'll head up towards Highlands and turn on Walnut Creek Rd. We'll take that up, around, and back down Ellijay Rd back into Franklin. From there, we'll squiggle up 28 and head back to home base. Let me know if you plan to go!

I'll talk to Amy, to see if she is interested in taking this drive, as a driver. If not, we'll pass. We may not know until we drive in on Thursday. She drove the Black Widow, for the first time, over the weekend, so she knows how to drive a manual.

Thanks for getting this rolling John. I was actually back the first of last week but unfortunately, we brought the cerveza sickness back with us, so I've been hunkered down since. I will be posting the Saturday drive in a few for those looking to get signed up for that.

Thanks for getting this rolling John. I was actually back the first of last week but unfortunately, we brought the cerveza sickness back with us, so I've been hunkered down since. I will be posting the Saturday drive in a few for those looking to get signed up for that.
I've got the list updated and looking forward to driving with everyone!
