Okay this drive is going to be on Thursday. We'll be leaving MicroTel in Robbinsville for Maryville, TN around 12:30 or 1:00 to meet the OKI crew in Maryville around 3:00pm. If you're interested, post here and let me know you're going. This drive is going to cross the entire Dragon and Foothills Parkway so you'll be driving on some excellent roads with some serious twisties. The pace will be a bit leisurely because the roads are so nice to drive. Not spirited, not leaf-peepy, just at a fun pace.
There is also going to be a Wednesday drive to Asheville, NC to explore Little Switzerland and the wonders of Rt 80. This will be followed by a 4 course dinner at Cucina 24 in Asheville. Cucina 24 is an excellent restaurant and the food is noveau Italian. A day trip away from the Dragon to experience the wonders of Western North Carolina.
