DBR 8 Events - Organized Group Drives
#11
I have a route that I've done a few times when I had my Mazdaspeed MX-5 at MATG. I'll be attending MATG this year, July 24-27, in my S just to meet up with old friends and will drive the same route again. I intend to go to Dragonball Run this year, but if I don't I'll still post the route here after I get the map from the organizer of the group I hang out with.
It's a fairly easy route to get to and has virtually no traffic as it's hidden. Personally I think it's much better suited for S's than the Gap. It's got both small technical turns and bigger sweepers. It's also much longer in length than the Gap. Plus, at the end you get to drive a few highway miles and stop at Fat Matt's for some great BBQ.
Total drive time for this trip, one-way, is ~45-75 minutes. If I recall correctly. I'll update this post after this weekend at MATG XII.
