Well, then, you are correct, Sir 
When I got my S and realized she'd never driven a stick and was a bit shy about it because of the nerve damage to her right arm at birth, I realized we had a problem. In an emergency, she needed to be able to drive my S. I got her the Miata to learn on, and she's gotten very good with it, indeed!
My one mistate was letting her drive my S the other day when I needed an inspection sticker. The position and throw of the S shifter, along with the console position, makes it WAY easier for her to drive the S as opposed to the Miata.
Being a dutiful husband, I arranged for her to be in an S post-haste. Fortunately, a *great* used AP1 was available locally, and I was able to get it. Now, we just need to get the Miata sold
Seeing my LBP in the garage without a set of keys to it in my pocket makes me a little nervous. But Karen deserves it. A graduation present, if you will.
