Hiro: "We need a lanyard or something"
Jason:

Amy, I hope everything works out alright. Come back in the spring, you've spent all your bad Karma...

A close one at the Deal's Gap for me and the rest of my group. Thought we were in for a big fight for a moment luckily cool heads prevailed. This is the last time I claim ownership of a yellow car.

Pushin9 +1, Aquatic, WestSideBilly +1 (woman) and myself had just finished running the Dragon and stopped at the Gap to rest abit. We chatted with the folks from Alabama for a bit and they moved on. It wasn't more than 5 minutes after the Bama group left and I was approached by a rider of a Harley who had asked our group " Who owns that yellow car?" I as always with great pride said that it was mine!! with that he came unglued an said I had cut him off and almost killed him. He pushed me a back a few inches and told me with several of those F and MF words that we settle this right now. A hush fell around the parking lot as it appeared there was going to be a rumble at the Gap.

I tried to explain to him it was not me several times but he was not hearing it. The rest of my group gathered around repeating the same to this ballistic biker but he was still not convinced. The next thing we see are several other bikers coming towards us and no other S's around. SHIT

Luckily he backed down and headed towards the store, while another of the bikers approached my vehicle. Oh no I was thinking he is goanna soon be kickin and a pounding on my vehicle soon. Luckily he only went to the back end to check plate and I could soon see on his face that look of we F'd up. I quickly said to him see it was not me. The only reply was It was three silver and one yellow. These dumb bastards could not tell letters from numbers as my tag has no letters and Skips has no numbers.
WOW

Glad everything worked out for the best. I think someone from up above was looking out for all of us last weekend.

Kim and I had a close call with a Tree Sunday afternoon.

We were driving on the Joyce Kilmer trying to get lost and find some fun secluded roads. We discovered a neat 4.5 mile dead end that lead up to Maple Spring Lookout.
When we reached the end of the road there was a path that lead to a neat little lookout area. We stay their for about a half hour or so and then headed back down the mountain. Driving about half way down this road a Tree almost hit us.
I was coasting down the mountain in third gear with the radio off. Which is rare for us, we always have the stereo blasting away. When all of a sudden we could hear a huge tree falling right above us, I had too downshift and hit the gas to avoid this beast and its destruction. The tree landed just a few feet shy of the road. It sounded like the forest had exploded and I just about sheet my pants.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a noise?

Hell Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I think it does!!!!!

Well, I had a great time. Made it through the dragon. Made it through many miles of parkway on Sunday. Got almost all the way home when on I-26....

BAM

Big freakin rock hits the windsheild and puts a nice 2-3" spider web right in the center. I was probably a 1/10 of a mile from the car in front of me too.

Oh well, had a blast!
