Default DB'05 - Weekend Stories

Ok, alot of people had issues this weekend, and i'm glad everyone made it back in one piece. So, everyone that went to the dragon or other run did you make it back in one piece? Otherwise, lets get a tally of the tickets and damage to S' there was.

I'll start

1. Speeding ticket (15 over)
2. Busted a nut on the way back from the dragon.
3. Sunburn

So i was headed back from the dragon with a group of S' and RHT(redhotteacher) says over the radio..."hey, decker, why is your wheel wobbling?". This is just before the final stretch into georgia and some very very swervy and curvy turns. Anyway, turns out, i had lost a nut, and another one was on its way. i probably didn't have much before the wheel came off and ... well y'now *splat* off a cliff. RHT is my guardian angel.

So thats my story ;-P Cars in the shop, hopefully not too badly damaged. Glad to be back in one piece. Pictures to follow.

Wow.

No tickets, no broken parts, no sunburn... 100 gallons of dead dinosaurs consumed...

Let's see...2 tickets...one wrecked front bumper...two carless friends (one temporary)...one less bottle of vanilla vodka!

Overall a great weekend...

$5.95 for an oil filler cap from Hardtopguy.
$30 overnight shipping
Another great Dragon event... Priceless!!!

Oh, and Hardtopguy is the best!!! None of the dealers local to Knoxville had a filler cap in stock!
Special thanks also go out to w1ngman, radred and airgate for helping me get back on the road.

So whats the story on the wrecked front bumper? Thought thats what had happened...

so who lost their oil out on the dragon? That was a bummer for somebody, for sure.

Great day, Saturday, though. Being a local I missed out on any other "festivities". But the Sat drive was awesome... can't wait for WTD.

Common Phrases at Uno's Chicago Grill..............

"Ranch! (hold your nose and say this loud and drawn out)"

"What, you don't serve hispanics here?"

"Where's my bottle?"

"That looks like oil blowback" (I think that was the right phrase)
