Thanks.....but I don't know if I can pull off wearing camo....

Something about a 100-lb girl in camo just doesn't seem right....

Just put a gun rack on the S... you'd fit right in with the locals.

Speaking of that, you weren't with us last year for the tour of local roads, were you? I think DSR was there for that!

Oh man! That was, ummmm........interesting!

We all stopped for gas at some joint off of the Cherahola Skyway. I know it was me, Deiger, KeithD, some of the Tampa guys (?), AcuraIntegraMan, Chuing, DSR, Heyitsgary, and some others.....

Someone says "I think I know the way back" (that should've been the first clue!), so we follow this person (can't recall who it was). So there's probably about 10+ cars all briskly moving along.....and we take this turn and the road goes from a normal two-lane road (w/ lines), to a one-lane road (w/o lines), to a friggin' dirt road.

Now, if I recall correctly, when it was still a one-lane road, all of us went tearing through there, past this home w/ a bunch of locals sitting out on the porch/on the pick-up truck drinking beer. Of course, they weren't too happy w/ us and I know some words were exchanged....well, not really exchanged, just yelled by them. Of course, we didn't give a because at that time we're still assuming we're about to get to the highway....until we get to the dirt road. Someone gets on the FRS radio and says "I don't think this is the right way" (uhhhhh - you think?!). So we have about 10 to 12 S2000's that now need to do a U-turn on a one-lane dirt road. We get spun around & head back the way we came....leading us right back to the lovely locals. At this point, they've sort of blocked the road and are having some words w/ whoever was up front at that point. Chuing was on his bike and went up to be the mediator. He worked his magic and we got out of there! Eventually, we made it back to the highway and found our way back to the hotel. That's why a bunch of us were late to the LE demonstration & raffle.

Willie Gee, were you there for that adventure????

you bet i was there. it was a wild ride!

i wondered what was going through those rednecks minds when we passed 'em haulling ass down a dead end road. They must have thought thier nieghbors were having some sort of crazy sportscar party or something.

"I reckon the Darvin's gots der distiller workin again."

it was pretty funny, but i was glad to find a way back home. rednecks scare me.

Too bad you didn't have the hat... they would have taken y'all in as brothers/sisters and given you some of the good stuff.
